This week was another great week in the land, and area of miracles. And it ended in a baptism, so that always makes a week a good one. So Monday not much happened, we had a pretty laid back Pday, and for FHE that night we visited some members, some of which were LA, and talked about how important it is to do the little things. If you don't do them, you will surely fall. It's the little things that build or destroy your foundation. Helaman 5:12 Tuesday, we had several potential investigators lined up to visit, however, most of them fell through, and we didn't get to visit with them. And that kind of became the story of this week. But we visited this really nice member and shared a spiritual thought with her. She gave us this drink that was actually pretty good, and I later found out it's made from sap from flowers, and sugar, and water is added. It was good though. Hello everybody!! So this week was transfers which means Pday was actually on Wednesday, and Monday was a normal day for missionary work, which was really weird to be honest, but it was a great week as usual! If a little weird... Monday, we had alot of people cancel on us. We also had a very intense discussion with a very Buddhist aunt and trying to get her niece who lives with her baptized. It's been a super big struggle, and her niece actually left in tears a couple times in the lesson because of how much she wants to be baptized, and the aunt is really against it. We left that lesson very sad, and expecting the worst. We found out later that night that a sister in the ward actually went and talked to the aunt, while getting her hair cut, and convinced her to let her niece be baptized. She was a miracle worker. Sacrificing hair to help out investigator be baptized. :) Also we taught a lady who we had literally invited 15 minutes before. She just walked to the church, and...

Alright so last Monday was a pretty busy Pday for Elder Bunker and I. He has been radioactive all week, but not in a bad way. Basically his thyroid had some problems, and to solve it he had to take a radioactive pill to fix it. After that, he couldn't be in large crowds, or near children, or sleep close to anybody else. This week was another awesome week in The Best Mission! Elder Bunker and I continue to work hard, and to invite everyone we see to learn about the church. It's been tons of fun, and we actually had two switchoffs for this week, so it was pretty fun stuff. Last Monday, after emailing, we headed over to a flooded turf soccer field, and played soccer with some 40 odd other missionaries. It was a straight 3 hours of absolute fun. It was way nice to actually get up and run for real. We have a treadmill at the gym we go to, but it just isn't the same as running for real, and actually moving somewhere, so that was really nice. Also, FHE was way fun, the members here are great, they love the missionaries, and they make great food. Tuesday, we spent a lot of time inviting. Actually a lot of our week was spent inviting. Hello everybody!!! So this week was another great week. To start off, I would like to share several acronyms that the name of our mission fits. TBM can stand for many things, including by not limited to.... The Best Mission, The Best Missionaries (spoken by the mouth of President Johnson himself), The Baptized Mission (from Elder Bunker) and most recently, the zone leaders told us in zone conference this week that we are Temple Building Missionaries!! There is a huge push here to get the members here ready for the temple that will come to Bangkok, and we are all so excited, even if it may take several more years. The work here is great, and the members are soo awesome!! I figured I would start with that since that is pretty much the main focus of the work here, get members and Melchizedek priesthood holders ready for a temple. It's exciting stuff. But more about zone conference later.  So last Monday, we did not have anywhere to go for family home evening, since the member...

So this week was pretty legit!! Last pday we went to a great Mexican place, and had some delicious Mexican food. Who would've thought, Mexican food in Thailand, but whatever. It tasted great. Tuesday was pretty fun, we had district meeting, and ate brownies! It's weird here when we get to eat white people food, especially white people dessert, but we all enjoyed it.  Wednesday, we taught a way smart lady who works selling food on the street. Ratchada Road to be exact. It was pretty cool to be able to teach her, and see what she thought about our message.  On Thursday, we had a crazy kid  approach   us . It was way weird because normally we have to approach people to talk to anyone. So that was cool. He really wants to learn, and has TONS of questions. So many that it was hard to actually teach the lesson. So that is interesting. Hello everybody!! This week was a bit of a wild ride. What an adventure this has been, and how exciting this next one will be! If there is one thing to learn before leaving on a mission, or in preparation for life in general, learn to have a good attitude!! That can make or break your efforts out here, and in life in general. Missionary work can be way fun, or miserable, and the thing is, it's your choice which you want it to be. So last Pday wasn't too exciting for us, we just emailed and went back to the apartment for a nap. I had a splitting headache though, so I wasn't really complaining, sleeping didn't hurt it like moving around did. Tuesday, we had to get flu vaccines, which took all of forever, since we had to see 4 different people before we could get the shot. Then we had district meeting, and studies, and English class in the evening. So nothing too terribly exciting for us. Wednesday, we had a couple of lessons, and we are just super pumped...

Hello everybody! What a week it has been! After 30+ hours of travelling, we finally made it to Thailand!!! I'm just going to go ahead skip the flight to Thailand, and my last week in the MTC because to be honest, I don't really remember much of either. The flight went well enough though, and we finally made it to President and Sister Johnson. The moment we saw the yellow angel Moroni and we knew that we made it, was a pretty awesome feeling, not going to lie.... After that we just got to our hotel and hit the sack, and I was out so fast. The next day, we came to the mission office first thing in the morning after breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. I really love Thai food!! Our first full day in Thailand was full of administrative things. We had an opportunity to have some personal study, while President Johnson pulled us out one by one, and interviewed all of us. He is a great president. I really like him. After that, we had some lunch. Then we had an orie...
