This week was another great week in the land, and area of miracles. And it ended in a baptism, so that always makes a week a good one.
So Monday not much happened, we had a pretty laid back Pday, and for FHE that night we visited some members, some of which were LA, and talked about how important it is to do the little things. If you don't do them, you will surely fall. It's the little things that build or destroy your foundation. Helaman 5:12
Tuesday, we had several potential investigators lined up to visit, however, most of them fell through, and we didn't get to visit with them. And that kind of became the story of this week. But we visited this really nice member and shared a spiritual thought with her. She gave us this drink that was actually pretty good, and I later found out it's made from sap from flowers, and sugar, and water is added. It was good though. I also found that the pride cycle of a missionary is very real too. As soon as you think you are doing pretty good with the language, the Lord makes sure you stay humble. Other than that, it wasn't too exciting.
Wednesday, we had our final visit with หมุน้อย it was pretty saddening actually. Her aunt, who has really thrown a wrench in our gears as missionaries told her parents that she shouldn't get baptized. So even though her mom has already signed the permission form to let her get baptized, she now will not allow her to be. It's way sad. Now all we can do is pray, and hope that หมุน้อย can be a good example to her mother to the point that she can be baptized. So, we will just continue praying and hoping that she can one day be baptized, and her mother's and aunt's hearts will be softened.
Thursday, we started off the day with a golden investigator that Elder V, and I found Wednesday night, and taught her how to pray. This morning, we gave her the restoration. She was an absolute sponge, and just soaked up everything we threw at her. It was sooo cool. She's way smart, and if she is baptized, she will be such a good member. After the lesson, the ward mission leader was there, and she and him talked for about 20 minutes. Ahhhh Bangkhen has the best fellowshippers ever! Thursday was full of meetings after that. Since the King of Thailand died and his funeral was Thursday, (but it's apparently a very sensitive subject, so we shouldn't talk about it more than we have too) but yeah we were inside pretty much all day, and had to limit inviting activities. It was such a big deal that even 7-11 closed, and they NEVER close. It's open 24/7, but closed on that day. It was crazy.
On Friday, we had a pretty good day. We started off the morning by visiting น้อง ดาว who was baptized this week. She is the sisters investigator, but since Elder Bunker is the district leader, he interviewed her, and we were there to get her record written out and done. It was way cool. While we were getting things sorted out, we sang primary songs together in Thai, and wow what a spiritual experience. The songs of the church are WAY powerful. I could literally feel the spirit descending on their little house, and any forces of evil fleeing the area. Wow. After that, we served a member of the ward, and he gave us a TON of food. It was great. After that, we headed to our house, and taught a potential. She is way cool! She's absolutely jacked, and apparently she went to the 2016 Rio Olympics for power lifting!! How cool is that?!? It was a good lesson too. After that, we had sports night, and that was fun, and then went home.
Saturday, we had a baptism! It was a great day. I spoke at it, and talked about the covenants we make at baptism, and how awesome those are. It was soo cool. The gift of tongues is sooo real. I can tell you that much 100%. I was a little nervous, but I was confident that I could do an ok job. But once I got up there, it wasn't even me speaking, the spirit just spoke, and I was along for the ride. It was super cool. I didn't speak all that long, but it was a good talk. Even Brother Stop was impressed. After that, we had several potentials fall through again, and then we got to teach one at KFC. It was another good lesson. The highlight of the day was definitely the baptism. It was a way good service, and the spirit was present.
Sunday, we had the primary program. So that made up for the initial disappointment of not having investigators at church. It was way good, and they all spoke so simply that I knew what all of them were saying! That was really nice haha. It really was a good sacrament meeting. After that, we had some excellent classes, and talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon. Without it, we have no religion. Seriously. It's so important, and we need to read it EVERY DAY! After that, we talked about family history work, and temples. The members here are working so hard to get a temple here, and it's just so awesome. If you live next to a temple, never take it for granted! So many people don't have one! And it is just a blessing. Also, we got haircuts, and short hair is super nice to have again.

15 For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
No matter what we feel like. The Lord does love us. The only pavilion that can go up between us, is the one we build. I testify as His representative, that He loves you more than you can even understand. He wants with all of his heart for you to return and live with Him, and He has done all he can to make that happen. We just have to let him in.
