The final letter, July 1-10

This last voice memo showed up on Ethan's drive this morning. He dictated it on the train from Ubon to Bangkok so I could hear rhythmic train noises in the background. I could hear the mixed feelings in his voice as he leaves his two years of service behind. It's hard to come home. It's so great, but also hard. Thanks for supporting him! Hello Everyone, This is the end of it all. The week starting July 1st and now I'm on a train and it's Wednesday the 10th. I don't know how I will report the next two days, but I guess we'll just call it traveling. At this point I don't know what to think. I'll just go with what happened this last week. Last Monday we decided to go on an adventure to [*] it's a city about 50 kilometers away. We jumped on this big old truck and put our bikes on top of it. June 24-30

Hello Everyone! I think I said a little bit about this in the other email, but we were going to do a sunrise hike. It was going to be super fun but then we couldn't go and the APs had a referral for us that could only meet in the morning. So Monday morning we got up and biked over to this hospital that's pretty far away to teach the referral and get to know him a little bit. After getting to know him a little he said, well I'm going to come back on Thursday so you guys can just talk to me again then so we didn't really get to teach him much. It took a while to ride back and then we had an appointment with an investigator.  We got lunch with the other elders, came back and did our laundry and worked out that night for a good hour and a half. That felt really good! We had some dinner and in the evening I got to talk to some people that I don't get to usually talk to because our p day isn't usually at night. Tuesday and we went to Bro.
