June 17-23

Hello Everyone, This last Monday was really fun. I enjoyed it quite a bit. We got up early in the morning and went mtn biking. There is a member who knows a lot of mountain biking trails near his house and he's offered before to take us. Our bikes got super muddy, super dirty, but it was worth it. Around noon we got done biking, went to his house and he fed us some lunch. And then we washed off in this cool waterfall. Then we headed home, showered and did our weeklies. For the evening Sis. Whale (the lady that we baptized last transfer) invited us and the sisters over to her house to have a family home evening activity with all of her family. The sisters are teaching her daughter. We spent some time inviting before that. It was a really fun evening. If you had told me on the train on the way here that I would baptize someone and then I would find myself at their house and the daughter's getting taught. I probably would've believe you because I was ready to go to work and u...

June 10-15

Dear Friends and Family, We are down tot he wire here!! One week  from today Ethan will be home! The day that would never come is coming. Our house is 85% repaired from the floods and somehow I will get his last few letters transcribed and out before he's home. :) Thanks for your love and support! He's speaking in church  on July 14th at 1 pm (820 S Buntin St) for anyone who would like to come. Hello Everyone, It's  June 10th to June 16th ! It's already June. Time seems to go by so fast and then it seems like sometimes it doesn't.  Monday we had a fun p-day. We went with some members to go see a cool cliff. There was supposed to be a waterfall but it was really dry so there was no water, but it was a cool cliff. Then we went to this other beach-y place and got some cool pictures, some good food, and then we headed home. It was a good day. In the evening we went to go see Noon, which means one. He's about 17 and he's your normal less active kid. He's a g...

June 3-9

Hello Everyone, Monday was a interesting p-day just because we didn't really do a lot.We got up in the morning, used some time to send emails and then we went over to the other elders house that we're supposed to close and we cleaned it up and cleared all this stuff out of it. We got the beds and some other stuff out of there, it was crazy and fun. Exciting. Then we got some lunch and went to Central, the big mall out here, bought some stuff and got some ice cream with the sisters. And then we came back to the house and got ready. And that was pretty much everything that happened that day. A big long day of cleaning up the house. But it was fun. That evening we had a YSA fireside, FHE kind of deal. We all went to this big ice cream shop and shared some thoughts together and it was actually way, way good. The elder's quorum present here, Bro. Bank, is super awesome. He did a good job. It was a good activity. Fun. Tuesday we got up and went to visit an investigator named The...

May 27-June 2

Hello Everyone, This week was kind of a long week. I'm so tired today. Last Monday we had a switch off. I was with Elder Freese who's way funny. He's been here for a long time now and he doesn't speak the language super well. He pretty has a pretty good attitude about it and he's way fun to work with and get along with.  in the morning we taught this super drunk guy named Dia, which means short. After spending some time with him we were inviting for a way long time in that neighborhood trying to find another guy named Soap, which means fresh. We spent a lot of time biking and inviting until lunch. We had some way good food. We did our studies at the church as well as we had to get some stuff done for the sisters, which included putting some audio files on an SD card for an investigator a bunch of other errand-y stuff. After that we had a teaching appointment with an investigator that Elder Freese actually taught for a long time when he was in a trio in the city...
