sunday dinner and switchoffs, more monks, and basketball morning

Hello everybody! This week was another busy one. Also, MLC was this week, which made things way fun because that means all the zone leaders sleep over with us and the assistants. Its way fun. Monday wasn't too crazy, we just had a normal pday. We got Thai drivers licenses for Elder Thornock, and Elder Rosenvall. That was pretty much the whole morning. Then we had plans to go and play frisbee, but those were cancelled because it rained. Which was fun. So Elder Thornock and I ended up walking about in the downtown area, in Chinatown looking for some cool stuff to buy, but we didn't find anything we wanted to pay for haha. After that, we had a fun little FHE with a less active who made some waaaay good food for us. Tuesday was pretty unexciting. We just had studies in the morning, and then district meeting in the late morning. Then we (the office elders) had lunch with the sister training leaders before we headed off to our next appt. Let me tell ya, we'v...

greenies, water monitors, and change

Hello everybody! What a week it has been, and what changes have we seen in the mission with some transfers, and some new missionaries that have arrived in Thailand! I only say that because this is the first time I've been able to work closely with them before haha. This Monday was a pretty legendary one. I mean, it's not everyday that you get to video call your family from across an ocean right?? It was pretty sweet, and they are pretty much the best, so that was a good start to the morning. After that, we had a normal pday including emails, and eating food, and all that stuff. Brother Golf, an RC here took us to a super good buffet since Elder Mc is leaving this week. It was soooo good, and there was tons of food. So I was not complaining to be companions with Elder Mc at that time and you know it haha. Then we bought some supplies for the house, and then Elder Hanks and I finished the day out with some basketball, and it was way fun. Our evening activity con...

Stake sports day, switchoffs, and getting lost in the big city of Bangkok

Hello everybody! This week was pretty dang quick. My good friend and district leader Elder Pool said to me this week I feel like I'm always waking up and going to bed. That's how fast the day goes by. And I have to agree. It's pretty crazy. Anyways so we had a way fun pday on Monday!! We went to the beach and an island for the day. That was way fun. The day started with getting up at 4ish in the morning and hurriedly sending a couple of emails and then hitting the subway to the van station to get over to Sriracha. Took about an hour drive over there. So cool. Then we hopped on a ferry and played on the island for a couple of hours. Hiked a mini mountain and went to the beach. Pretty good stuff. Then we had a visit with an international investigator and he is a piece of work. Believes in aliens and the like, and the way that Ezekiel received revelation for the bible was going up to the mothership of these aliens and looking down on earth. It was an interest...

Miracles, zone conferences, flying

Hello everybody!! This week was a crazy one! We were crazy busy all week with two zone conferences that we flew out to, and we finally get a normal week this week, but its already the last one before transfers, so its going to be pretty busy here in the office anyways... Anyways, so Monday we had plans to go and visit Chonburi with the elders down there, but that didn't happen because it rained on us, so we ended up playing some ultimate frisbee with the district, and later going and eating lunch together. Pretty low key pday, but not too bad all things considered. In the evening, we had plans to visit an LA at her house but she ended taking us out to eat at this way good place where we had sooooo much food. And some ginormous shrimp. Pretty good Tuesday, we had a crazy morning where we ran over to the office in the morning, and had an office meeting where we discussed the rest of this transfer and where we stand considering all this office stuff and where we ...
