Elder Ethan Ellsworth - Bangkok, Thailand

This week was christmas week I love christmas! This week we had a very exciting preparation day for Christmas Eve we got up in the morning and we headed over to a mountain with a company that's next to church and he took us up to the mountain and we rode bikes all the way down there's about 20 to 30 km and boy was way fun lots of uphill and downhill alot of mountain biking I miss it a whole lot. After that we came home changed showered and got over to a member's house and she brought another family over and that became some new investigators the guy once to quit smoking and he seems like he has a lot of potential. Tuesday we went back and saw another investigator who sure loves to talk. she's way great but loves to talk and doesnt really understand the things that we say to her after that, We headed back to the church to find a couple of missed appointments which was a little too bad but we can deal with that I suppose then we had a quick Christmas meal at...

Hello everybody!! This pday was pretty fun because we went up to this huge mountain on the back of a pick up truck and then after that we rode go carts down a track it wasn't very long but I was pretty fun I only crashed once. Next we took pictures and after that we headed home when we got home we changed and showered and headed over to a member's house for a family home evening activity where we had intended to bring investigator but he was not free so he could not then we came home and we also taught an investigator and he is super awesome his way down the to learn about the church Tuesday we headed out 1st thing in the morning to go teach an investigator and she talked for a long long time and so we were there for a while then we finally got head and back and got to another investigator at the church who drives a grab taxi and hes really good we're trying to help him in his son to learn more about the gospel we had some lunch. for district meeting I mis...

Hello  everybody, This week was transfers week and so that means Monday we worked instead of had a fun preparation day also it always ends up with less appointments than we like and more inviting than we anticipate. Because I'm so far behind and writing emails I don't actually remember exactly what happened on Monday as far as appointments go but I know it was good and we lots of really cool people. Tuesday was a really fun day as well because we were up early and got to play basketball in Asoke  because that morning we had a service plan at the Red Cross. After serving all morning long and then into the afternoon as well we were fed lunch and then we got back home. Hello everyone!! Monday was a super fun day we headed to the beach and partied for a long time and we also went on a fun hike to a waterfall after that we started proselyting in the evening and this week is heaven week it was super Tuesday was the 1st official day of heaven week we left the house at 7:00 in the morning am and invited for about 2 hours and then we came back and we did some studies after that we had some district meeting time it was good then we went and invited for 3 more hours that evening trying to find new investigators and we saw a lot of people to talk to but we did not find any new investigators sadly. Hello everybody!! Thank goodness for text to speech, otherwise i would be too lazy to write emails haha! Monday was a really fun day we went to different area and spend the time with some elders playing basketball and making a song (for Light the World). Unfortunately the song never really got made after that we came back to our area and got ready for the night and then we invited and talked with a member for a lot of the night. Tuesday we studied in the morning and then we headed over to a member's house for her birthday which was really fun. She fed us brownies and after that we went to church for district meeting and after that we had studies and then a fun meeting with an investigator with a previous companion of mine who helped us teach then we came to the church and had English class. Monday was a pretty good day. We spent the day in bangkapi, and played ball on the legendary hoop over that part of town. We also wrote and practiced a song that we intended to release for light thr world, but it never really worked out. We couldnt get it together in time. Sad day. After a long bus ride home we spent some good time tracting and all that good stuff. Tuesday we had a normal district meeting day. Dont remember much from it. Except we talked alot about obedience, and how important that is. Wednesday i spent the day with elder schindler in samut prakan and we had to figure out their electricity bill in the morning, but then we got out finally and got to invite for a bit before we had studies, and then a long lesson with an investigator that likes to talk alot. Hello everybody!! Monday, we had a very fun day but I just forgot what we did. That's a problem anyways after our extracurricular activities in the day time we came back to our area then we taught an investigator here that is named จอย and he is super awesome I really love that guy hes super humble and always way down to learn. After  that we also had sometime to invite and talk with lots of people. Tuesday, we add studies in morning district meeting and Interviews the president and those were great presidents really awesome and he really shows his love to us missionaries lets us know were important. Hello everybody! Monday is pretty finally went to a huge mall called MBK, and I went to taking my camera to be fixed because it was broken. Then we wandered around the the mall doing some window shopping for a while looking at cool things talked to some other elders, had some dinner, came home missed an appointment and made another one. Tuesday, was it pretty normal day we study in the morning and then we had district meeting in the afternoon, then we taught one of our guys who is pretty cool. he had a lot of questions about the Book of Mormon and with the whole language difference it was hard to explain to him understand so we need to get a member in there. After that we just talked to a lot of people did some inviting had dinner and came to English class. Hello everybody!! This week was the greatest of weeks in the promised and golden land of Bangnaa!! People here are prepared! I love baptism! And I love this ward! This Monday was a fun one. We woke up to not much planned for the day, and then one of my favorite members in this ward called, and said elders I need your help, come and sell food with me. And so we went! She is so awesome, and I was sad since I thought that I would not see them again since transfers is Thursday, and I've been in the area for a while. But fast forward to the end of the week, and I'm still here!! yay! After that, we had a couple appts with other members, and tried to receive referrals from them that are neighbors and other family members, but they arent super interested. Yet.
