This week was christmas week I love christmas! This week we had a very exciting preparation day for Christmas Eve we got up in the morning and we headed over to a mountain with a company that's next to church and he took us up to the mountain and we rode bikes all the way down there's about 20 to 30 km and boy was way fun lots of uphill and downhill alot of mountain biking I miss it a whole lot. After that we came home changed showered and got over to a member's house and she brought another family over and that became some new investigators the guy once to quit smoking and he seems like he has a lot of potential.
Tuesday we went back and saw another investigator who sure loves to talk. she's way great but loves to talk and doesnt really understand the things that we say to her after that, We headed back to the church to find a couple of missed appointments which was a little too bad but we can deal with that I suppose then we had a quick Christmas meal at member's house followed by some inviting. Finally got some studies in and then we headed home for district meeting after that he had English class which was good I guess kind of a flop because not much English class we had a lot of big of a party for Christmas and then we cleaned up and headed home and that was the day.
Wednesday was kind of fun we went to the hotel in the morning and we got some breakfast and we got to skip our family using the hotel Wi-Fi after that we went right back to work and we visited an investigator who is a super old man. after that we served a recent convert and helped him do his job for making these cool things out of coconuts again selling them after that we headed over to a super super liberal market there was basically just like California popped out of nowhere into Thailand and taught an investigator there who is selling for a festival over New Year's. Barely very managed to get studies in and then we headed over to extra members house so that we could meet with another investigator that she invited us to go and me then we headed home and tried to get a video appointment but it kind of flopped and that was our day.
Thursday morning was little bit dramatic because you went to a recent converts house to go and visit her better turns out the shes in the hospital so we headed over there and the people at front tell us that she's in the emergency Room manners were going to the emergency Room we get there and see That she is being carted out towards the ICU apparently her heart started into constricting so she was going crazy she kept telling us the she is ready to see God again and is ready to die and she told us where her tithing money was so we could pay the branch presidnet for her. That was pretty dramatic but then after that we got back to the house and see some studies and visit some other people that evening including a member and her brother who is in now and investigator and he is doing pretty good right now he just has to recover from some problems with his health.
On Friday we had a switch off with the district leader here in North and I was with elder mcquivey is the trainee a former companion of mine other Thornock so really fun today 1st thing we taught sister หมู who is an investigator who talks for a very very long time and then we went into a University nearby and we taught some othet people and met in RC whos way sick and her friend as well after is that we walked around and invited a little bit and then we came back to the house and got our studies done after that we got some dinner and then we headed over to the hospital so that he could fix his tooth which had a root canal from a bike crash earlier and then we went to any party at the church where we say good bye to the Redds a senior couple here who is headed hone. and we visited sister น้อง the lady from earlier Thursday who is at the hospital that we reviewed our switchoff quickly and headed home.
Saturday morning we went inviting and found a way cool dude who sells them cool souvenirs and we're going to teach in this next week and see how he goes and then we visited another investigator the older brother of a member and he used to in way awesome so. After that we came back and grab some lunch and finally had some studies and weekly planning to do that we all finally got finished up for their week then we got to meet with a cool recent convert who wants to serve a mission and his family is way cool we had a great dinner with them and then we headed home there and missed an appointment with another investigator so that was pretty sad.
Sunday we had a pretty good day 1st thing in the morning we went and picked up our way old investigator who's super strong so and we bike to thing the church hes 80 plus and we rode a bike with them to church with its pretty fun to that church was good of his the last 3 hour block we know will ever have after church we talk to some investigators. Then we went to church in the afternoon too because we have different investigator who can't get a church in a morning and so we can go to the afternoon with them and that's OK. The other elders got in a motorcycle accidents and so that was a problem so we went and grabbed their clothes at their house in the process we had to break into the house by a way that I won't tell you but then we got their clothes are brought to the hospital and visited him and then we finally got home and had a video call appointment that actually fell through so is evening's no appointments but we able to serve the other elders so that was a good day.
My spiritual thought is this!!!
Mosiah 4
27 And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore, all things must be done in order.
If you are diligent, you write emails everyweek, and then your mom doesnt censure you (=win the prize) for not writing home in your christmas phone call!! Hahaha

26 For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward.
27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;
28 For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their reward.
We need to be diligent! No sitting around doing nothing! Go to work! Can't go through thr motions!! Christ is on our side.
