สวัสดีครับทุกท่านนะครับ This week was another really quick one. I really don't know what it's been with the past couple of weeks but I really do fro like I blink and before I know it, it's Sunday again. Life of a missionary I suppose. Anyways... Monday we had zone conference! Zone conference is always so much fun! We slept over at the DLs house for the night and we were up by 5:30 to jump in a taxi and get to Asoke by 8:00. Then we got things set up, grabbed some breakfast off the street real quick and it began! We had some really solid training from the APs and president Johnson in the morning about raising mission standards of excellence, and being obedient and better missionaries by opening our mouths! Great stuff. After that, we had lunch and then more training. Sister Johnson talked about humility, and We learned about how to be better planners. สวัสดีครับทุกท่านนะครับ (Hello everyone!) This week was probably the fastest of my mission so far. It seems like we went to bed Sunday night and then woke up the next day and it was Sunday again! Crazy stuff. Good week though. Not bad at all. Monday, we had a busy pday. We got up right away and email for a bit and then headed over to the gym for another little bit. That felt way good. I've been getting out of shape here... too many snacks and not enough exercise haha. But that's the life of a missionary I guess haha. Anyway, after that was over we headed over into Asoke. We stopped by our fabric place, and then we headed over to MBK. It's basically a huge store where you barter for the things you buy, and you can get anything you want. I got some good fabric, a nice bag and some soccer jerseys. Good stuff. Hello everybody!!! This week feels like many from months past. It really went by at light speed. But we are doing well here in บางแค !!! The Lord is with us and the work moved forward. Which is good because being senior comp in a country whose language you've been speaking for 8 months can be pretty flipping hard sometimes haha. Monday we headed into Asoke. Downtown Bangkok. I'll be honest, I wasn't much of a city person before I left on my mission, but I have really come to love it here in Bangkok. It's a weird mix of feelings knowing I've only been here for 6 or so months but at the same time it feels like home here as well. Bangkok is way good though!! Anyways, we ran around finding cool things in the market downtown and found some sick fabric to make ties and scripture cases because that's what all the elders here do. And it's way fun. Hello everybody!!! This week was another quick one!! And another full of hard work. It's a great feeling going to bed here knowing that you really did give it your all. Diligence is the name of the game!! Monday, we had a pretty relaxing pday. Not much went on. After emailing in the morning, we headed over to go and window shop at the mall down the street. Then we grabbed some groceries and some lunch and then headed home. I was getting some serious cabin fever though, and so we went and found a gym to go and work out at. And it was awesome!! It felt so great. I also realized how out of shape I am though... :/ oh boy. Anyways, it was great though. After that, we headed home and then had a great lesson with an investigstor and taught his friend too!! It was great. Tuesday, we had a PI appt that fell through in the morning. สวัสดีครับทุกท่านนะครับ ! This week was transfer week! It was a fun one to be sure. Monday, we went and bought a CD for an LA we are working with. She says that it hurts her eyes and head too much to read the BoM so she likes to listen to it on audio. And so we made a CD for her to listen to. While the computer was making that all happen, we just did our studies in the morning. After that, we went and gave that to her, and then had a pretty tough lesson with her. She feels like she is out of faith and hope and just has kind of given up. May or may not have been some tears in that lesson. It sounds like she's got it pretty tough right now. After that, we had a YSA activity at the church and invited investigators to come as well. It was way fun! We played a way fun game called signs, and I really enjoyed it. And we got some new investigators out of it as well. Tuesday, we studied in the morning and then went to teach an investigator and his brother was there too...

Plus we had zone conference and got new social media and stuff so how cool is that?? Monday, we had zone conference all day. It was way fire too. I love zone conference. It's way fun. And we get way fire training. In case you couldn't tell already, it's just pretty much a fire day. And we get some great food. I'll just quickly mention alot of what we learned and went over, since if I wrote it all, it would take up all of the email. But basically we had a good talk about the principle of obedience, building good relationships with companions, finding and teaching to needs of investigators, and working on teaching skills and things. พี่น้องที่รักของข้าพเจ้า , This week was another great one here in the big city of Bangkhae! The work is progressing! It's so awesome to be here and be working with investigators progressing towards a baptismal date again!!! Monday was pretty สบายๆ , not too much going on, but hey that's what pdays are for right?? Anyways, we started off the day by going out and emailing, and then picked up some stuff for the house. We got a microwave for the house!!! That was pretty exciting. All we've had previously was a toaster and a hotpot. So a microwave is a big upgrade and we were pretty excited haha, and then we didn't use it until this last Sunday night... But it's been a great addition to the house! After that, Elder McCown wanted to go and by flowers for the house so we headed to a nearby ตลาด (market) to grab some. It was a HUGE place.
