Crunch time, switchoffs, and 11 yo baptisms

Hello everyone!

Get ready for a short one, because I'm down to crunch time on my weekly once again.

Monday was way fun! It was Elder Sukyong's birthday and also, we went and did paintball. It was super fun! Then we got back, had a great appt with an RC family, and then met with our WML who is SUCH a homie!

Tuesday, studies, district meeting, proselyting, English class, preparing for switchoffs. Not much to report.

Wednesday, I got to switch off with Elder Petterson. He is so cool, and in my MTC group. I've thought being companions with him would be cool, and now I got my wish! For one day. เย่ we spent a good day working, teaching an investigator who told us if she is converted she would marry me, and another Burmese dude that we don't understand the lesson because we just Skype the Burmese elders and they talk to him. It's fun though.

Thursday, we had a lot of cancelled appts in the morning, studies and weekly planning and then a couple of teaching appts, some way complex switchoffs to get to some PIs and make sure we have an investigator interviewed for baptism. But he passed!!! This Sunday is the day! Hooray!

Friday, we had a fun morning with some service, and teaching and then we studied and went on a bit of a wild goose chase, taught สมชาย (Somchay) and he is super fun. Just a crazy old guy. He always tells us he is a stubborn student and will take some time. But he is so good. Then we had sports night and an interesting lesson with บ๋อม. (Bomb) I don't have much time to go on, but let's just say his way of thinking is so close to the gospel, and at the same time, well, not right at all. So that's fun.

Saturday we had s full work day! A couple cancelled appts in the morning, followed by some studies, inviting, a lesson with a straight fire investigator, and then some finding dinner, and we found some just as it started to POUR rain. So that was perfect. Then we invited in front of a mall, and taught an old gentleman, who sells little Buddhist statues for a living. And now we are teaching him the restored gospel. So that's exciting. Then we had a cancelled lesson with a dater that we will probably drop soon :/ and a fun kessoknwirh some super cute Cambodians.

Sunday was the day! Studies, running arii d getting people to church, getting to church and finding the electricity was out and then we just opened all the windows and stuff. Good times. Lunch, teaching, correlation meeting, more teaching, and then we had a baptism to close out the night! เย่ๆๆๆๆ so happy.

My spiritual thought got the week is on 2 Ne 32:5

For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.

In quorum yesterday we talked about how we can protect ourselves from harmful influences and media. And the number one protection is the spirit! If we live worthy of Him and His influence, we will never be led astray, but we will be protected and warned. So that's comforting. I know Christ lives and loves us enough to die, and provide a way back for us and lead us to safety. All we have to do is follow Him.

Love ya all, have a great week!
